Chicago Bears May Express Interest in San Diego’s Vincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson of the San Diego Charges who wasn’t tag by Monday’s 3pm deadline is expected to explore free agency in a bid to secure a lucrative deal.  Jackson is currently being eyed by the Chicago Bears, and other teams such as Tampa Bay may express interest in him later on. Although Jackson will be a free agent, it is important that the Bears put in a strong offer if they want to secure his services for next season, as they would be facing competition from numerous teams, including the Charges.  Jackson had a decent season last year catching 60 passes for 1,106 yards and nine touchdowns.   Jackson earned $11.4 million last year as a Charger and would be looking for something well north of that amount for the 2012 season.
