After getting embarrassed on Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers, the Bears will seek revenge against the feisty Rams, who are also 1-1. Last week the Bears struggled to get anything going on offense, and if they want to do well this season, they need the offense to perform in games like this. The Bears have invested a lot into their offense, with Cutler, Marshall, and Forte leading the charge on offense, the Bears shouldn’t expect the Rams and their 23rd ranked defense to deter them from lighting up the scoreboard. However, it is the surprising offense of the Rams that the Bears must be prepared to defend. The Rams have the 11th ranked offense which is due to a balanced attack of run and pass. They don’t have many big play threats on their team, so the Bears will need to force the Rams into third and longs and be efficient in their third down defense. If the Bears can play their best football in week three, then there will be no excuse for losing.
